Supervision

Unfortunately, many of us social workers have felt that when we were working in our agency or hospital settings, our supervisors’ ability to help us grow was limited. Satisfying quotas, monitoring productivity, and making sure records were up to date always seemed more important than growing our clinical skills. Those things are necessary, especially for funding, but they don’t nourish your need for learning or professional development.

For social work students or LMSWs working in agency or hospital settings WITH ADULTS (Sorry! I don’t work with kids.), I offer case consultation and supervision.
